Fans of the Spy x Family anime have been waiting long to hear about Spy x Family Season 3. After Season 2 ended in late 2023, many fans were worried there wouldn’t be another season. But in early June 2024, the excellent news was announced – Spy x Family is getting a third season!

The big announcement happened at a special event called the “Spy x Family Anime Extra Mission” on June 9, 2024. This event brought together the Japanese voice actors and show staff. They performed an exceptional performance and talked about making the series. At the end of the event, they showed everyone new pictures for Season 3, getting fans excited.
Spy x Family Season 3 Release Date
The announcement did not include a release date for Season 3. The first two seasons of Spy x Family came out pretty regularly. Season 1 was from April to December 2022, and Season 2 was from October to December 2023.
Many fans hoped Season 3 would come out around October 2024, but there has yet to be a confirmed date. The studios making the show, Wit Studio and CloverWorks, have been working on other big projects. This is likely why the new Spy x Family season is taking longer.

What To Expect in Spy X Family’s Season 3
Even though we don’t know when Season 3 will come out, we can guess what will happen in the story. The focus is expected to be on Loid’s secret spy mission, Operation Strix. He will keep trying to get closer to the character Donovan Desmond.
Fans will probably see more of Loid’s work with the WISE spy agency. There may also be more tension and romance between Loid and Yor, even though they pretend to be married. Anya will likely keep trying to help her parents with their missions while keeping their Family together.
Spy x Family Season 3 Cast And Where To Watch
The prominent Forger family members are expected to have the same voice actors as before:
- Takuya Eguchi as Loid Forger
- Saori Hayami as Yor Forger
- Atsumi Tanezaki as Anya Forger
Other characters like Bond, Yuri, Becky, Fiona, and Damien will also likely return.
For fans outside Japan, Season 3 of Spy x Family will probably be on Crunchyroll, just like the first two seasons.
