New anime news! A hero in a red suit is coming to TV screens in a story that mixes power rangers with magic worlds. Kadokawa just told us about their new show, “The Red Ranger Becomes an Adventurer,” and it’s making fans very happy.
The Red Ranger Release Date
Mark your calendars! The Red Ranger Isekai show starts in January 2025. Kadokawa shared this big news on August 8, 2024. They showed us an excellent 90-second video that gave us our first look at the main hero and his friends. They also made a pretty picture with all the main characters together.
The people making the show are good at their jobs. The studio is called Satelight, and they chose Keiichiro Kawaguchi as the director. Atsuhiro Tomioka is writing the story, and three artists—Shuji Maruyama, Hideaki Onishi, and Ayaki Ito—are drawing all the characters. Koichiro Kameyama will make the music.
Plot Overview of Red Ranger
This isekai red ranger story is about a hero named Togo Asagaki. When fighting bad guys, he turns into a superhero called Kizuna Red. One day, after a massive fight with some super bad guys, Togo thinks he’s done for. But something weird happens! Instead of getting hurt, he ends up in a magical world. Now, as the red ranger at Isekai to another world, he helps people and fights bad guys in this new place.
The red power ranger Isekai tells us about the friends Togo makes, too. There’s Idola Avom, who has the voice of Konomi Inagaki. Then there’s Teltina Liz Wagrel Alvarost, played by Minami Tanaka. And remember Rosie Mist, to whom Tomohiro Ono gives a voice. Tomoya Ito plays the main hero, Togo.
This show is based on a comic book (manga) that started in October 2020. A writer named Koyoshi Nakayoshi writes the manga, which is published monthly in a magazine called Monthly Shonen Gangan. The manga was so good that they made it into a TV show!

Where to Watch the Red Ranger
We are still determining exactly where you can watch the show when it comes out. But since Kadokawa makes many other anime shows, it might be on places like Crunchyroll, HIDIVE, or Netflix. They’ll tell us the honest answer closer to when the show starts.
